Cadillac is expanding its lineup with an all-new version of the ATS that sports two fewer doors, unveiling the ATS Coupe at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
Only two engines will be available in the ATS Coupe, either a 2.0-liter turbo four cylinder that makes 272 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, or a larger 3.6-liter V6 that puts out 321 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission can be had with the smaller engine, though AWD models make due with only the auto. The larger engine option is limited to the automatic transmission as well.
Offering close to 50/50 weight distribution, the ATS Coupe is also available with GM’s Magnetic Ride Control, a mechanical limited-slip differential, high-capacity engine cooling system and staggered 18-inch summer-performance tires.
Interior features include OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with built-in WiFi, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity with natural voice recognition and text-to-voice that can read incoming text messages to the driver.
